Great polka music, food and cold beer! The Red Ravens date back to 1969 when longtime leader Jodie Hermes started the band. Now the Red Ravens are still going strong, typically playing 50 plus jobs per year. Current leader Lawrence Svetlik was a member of the original Red Ravens and is the only remaining charter member of the band. Who are the Red Ravens? Leader Lawrence Svetlik plays tuba, bass guitar, and accordion. Eugene Klekar plays sax and piano. “Shane” Dennis Lala is on rhythm, guitar, sax, trumpet, and accordion, while Daniel Jobb does drums. Milton Wagner is lead guitar. Mason Nesvadba does Accordion & tuba. All of the Red Ravens contribute with vocals except lead guitar Milton Wagner, who is quickly credited by Lawrence with being a driving force on the resurgence of the Red Ravens.
